After all, what is the point of enjoying fabulous surroundings if you are irritated with obvious or tried background music?
Rob Wood was brought in as music consultant - the ex Editor of Jockey Slut who DJs and compiled the Mr and Mrs Smith hotel guide music series. Rob has sourced hundreds of hours of music that spans all genres and works in different spaces at different times - setting a very creative and inspiring atmosphere and bespoke soundtrack for the hotel. A soundtrack that would be gentle enough to work to during weekdays, but sensual enough to match the perfect ingredients of Cerise, whilst being fiery enough to accompany any raucous late-night celebration with the most exciting play list possible.
As you wander around the forbury, you will notice an intriguing international selection of music from the state-of-the-art Gibson sound system that takes in everything from classical to jazz to Latin to pop and beyond. Expect the unexpected.
